Leaving Spirit stands for 100% handmade, independent music inspired by blues, rock & country!
Leaving Spirit embodies handmade rock music rooted in blues, rock, and country. A standout feature is the distinctive voice of singer Paula Frecot, bringing a refreshing diversity to the otherwise male-dominated genre. The band released their debut album "Things Change" in 2019 and was featured as the Act of the Month by Gitarre & Bass in the following month (Issue 09/2019). The magazine writes, "They simply have a good feel for handmade rock music and something special." Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the band ventured on a small Germany tour in the fall of 2020, making stops in Hamburg, Berlin, Hannover, and Leipzig. In spring 2021, they released new songs, including the live-session-recorded single "Myth of the Delta Blues," which has already captivated over 300,000 viewers on YouTube.
In September 2022, the band presented their second studio production, "100% Leaving Spirit." As hinted in the title, the album was recorded in their own rehearsal room and entirely self-produced, mixed, and mastered. Even the cover artwork was designed by frontwoman Paula Frecot, making it a 100% Leaving Spirit original. The musical journey continued in 2023 with concerts in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, where the band shared the stage with renowned artists such as "Markus Rill", "Erja Lyytinen", and "Robert Jon & The Wreck".
Anticipation is now focused on the upcoming tour and the new album in 2024, leading Leaving Spirit to new horizons. In addition to 11 concerts in the Czech Republic in spring, the band will also perform in Germany and the Netherlands for 28 more shows. Leaving Spirit remains true to their commitment to handmade rock music and will once again captivate the audience with their authentic performance. If it says "Leaving Spirit" it is "Leaving Spirit". 100% Leaving Spirit.
